Christmas crept up on us so quickly this year. But, it has been a delightful time seeing everyone celebrating and having fun. The Mini Market Beaulieu was a huge success and as usual, the stalls did not disappoint. Santa’s Grotto sold out with over 200 children lining up to meet Santa in person. The smiles on their little faces when they left the centre was heartwarming. Thank you to Rotary Mildmay for organising and doing an amazing job as always.
The Centre has been busy with so many activities that have not all been publicised. Together with Rotary Mildmay, Beaulieu Park School and New Hall School, we were able to create a magical evening for people who are either struggling financially or feeling a little lonely. The voices of the choir from Beaulieu Park School filled the hall with Christmas magic, whilst the aromas of a traditional Christmas Meal, lovingly prepared by the Executive Chef and General Manager from New Hall School, tantalised everyone’s taste buds. A huge thank you to all the local businesses who sponsored prizes for the raffle as well as to Sainsbury’s who sponsored 50% of the ingredients towards the meal. We would not have been able to put on such an amazing evening without the support from local businesses.
The Beaulieu Community Centre will be closed from the 24th December and will be reopening on the 3rd January 2025. We truly hope that you all have a wonderful, safe festive season and we wish you all the very best for the New Year. We have lots of exciting events planned for 2025 and we hope that you will not only support us but enjoy them.
Keep an eye on our Facebook page where we will be advertising our events for the New year. The line up so far starts with another Open Mic Night on the 1st February. These evenings have proven to be a huge success over the last year. Leading us into Easter, will be a Mad Hatters Tea Party with live entertainment and bubbly. So if you like a boozy lunch – make sure you get your tickets booked.
A drive for performers for our Beaulieu’s Got Talent on the 24th May has already started, so if you would like to register as a performer, please do email enquiries@beaulieuhub.uk and let us know what your magical skill is.
We are here to support you, our local community – so keep in touch and let us know if there is something that you would like us to assist with.
