Beaulieu Community Centre Activities

Beaulieu Community Centre (Beaulieu Hub)
has been buzzing with all sorts of activity
over the past few months with a key
highlight being amazing music circulating the
Chase Hall at our Open Mic Night in May.
It was our first live music event and it was a
massive success with a great line up of
amazing artists, two of which (Grace Murray
and Rosie Hart) will be returning to the
Centre in September to perform a never seen
before dual headline show!

This is one show that you do not want to miss and you can grab early bird tickets
now from our Eventbrite page: www.LiveMusicBCC.eventbrite.co.uk
Keep an eye out for all Trust events by following the Chelmsford Garden Community
Trusts Eventbrite page at www.go.CGCTrust.uk/Events. By doing so you can choose
to be notified when new events are added and also receive updates for events you
have registered for. We have some really insightful and fun events coming up.

A quick note from the Treasurer, Andrew Wright:
We are continuously streamlining our procedures and I am pleased to let you know
that all hirers now have the ability to pay from a “Pay Online Now” button that can
be found on invoices received. In addition we are implementing a payment system
from GoCardless which will make the payments process far simpler both for the
Trust and our regular hirers. We are trialling this now and plan to roll it out fully in
August. Crucially this means less time spent on manual administrative processes and
more time available to deliver community events and activities for you.
We also have some great ideas and opportunities to involve the entire community in
becoming more involved with keeping the centre in a financially healthy position
(the numbers still don’t stack up) so watch this space next month!

The Trust would like to give a BIG ‘thank you’ to
some amazing volunteers that have assisted us with
various projects. GoodGym rolled up their sleeves
and gave our foyer area a good old scrubbing and
Volunteer Matters spent the day with us reviving
our walls with a nice fresh coat of paint.

There is still more to do but hopefully when you return from your summer holidays,
you will be able to come and see what else we have been busy with.
